I had been cycling to work in London for about the last 8 years, mainly because of the speed, convenience and sense of freedom. Let’s face it, those things are in short supply on public transport which also doesn’t help keep the middle age spread at bay or lower your blood pressure.

One thing I noticed was that although cycling was generally hassle free, getting my bike fixed was anything but. Long hours at work made it difficult to to visit the bike shop and long wait times for repairs and servicing were annoying. What I started to do was to fix my bike myself, and before long I was doing friends’ and neighbours’ bikes and I decided I’d better go on a course and learn properly. I got City and Guilds qualified and have set up a business that aims to make getting your bike fixed as convenient as possible. We come out to wherever you keep your bike and give you and your bike the care and attention that we’d expect to get ourselves.
