The level of service needed will depend on the age and type of bicycle and the amount of use it has had. We would only ever carry out the most economical level of service for your bike to keep the cost to you to a minimum. All services are carried out by a City and Guild or Cytech Level 2 qualified mechanic. Parts are charged as extra unless stated.
Our basic service includes:
- Frame and forks checked visually.
- Gears indexed.
- Wheel hubs and rims checked for damage and wear, hubs adjusted if necessary.
- Wheel axle nuts/quick release checked for tightness.
- Brakes checked and adjusted.
- Bolts checked and tightened to correct torque.
- Tyres checked for tread wear/ and damage and inflated to correct pressure.
- Headset checked and adjusted if required.
- Chain and cassette, checked for wear.
- Saddle adjusted to fit rider if required.
- Advice on any further work needed.
- single speed subtract £5.
No call out fee for bike service and repair in any of the following locations, subject to a minimum labour charge of £20 -
