What we do

Bicycle repairs

We have a fully equipped workshop for bicycle after sales service and repairs and over the years we have built an excellent reputation for the quality of our work. Our bike servicing is very thorough and typically includes replacing parts that are worn or damaged, inflating tyres to pressure, checking the bearings, truing wheels and aligning and tightening all nuts and bolts. We always use quality branded replacement parts. Mechanically your bicycle will feel as new. We recommend having your bike serviced at least once a year…

This reduced cost is simply deducted out of your payslip over 12 or 18 months, so no need to worry about large one-off costs!

Call us on, come in to the shop or go to the cycle2work website for more information.

Bike2workscheme

If your employer is signed up to Bike2workscheme you can pay for a new bicycle and accessories in 12 monthly amounts deducted from your salary before income tax and NI are calculated, saving you at least 25% up to 42% depending on your tax status. Call us or go to the bike2workscheme website for more information.

A little bit about us…

Our first service

Back in 2012 Bicyclenation was born out of a mission to get as many people enjoying cycling as much as we do, and to make it easy to do so.

We started out as a fully mobile collect and return business situated in a unit close to Burgess Park.

The market

The business grew quickly and we soon were servicing more and more London cyclists. We had the opportunity to take up a stall on the Northcross Road Market and every week we can be found at the East Dulwich market doing what we do best: servicing bikes quickly, effectively and all with a smile. Thanks to our repeat customers we have never missed a single Saturday market – ever! Come rain or shine.

The Herne Hill move

Thanks to our customers the business kept on growing and the opportunity to take on a new premise presented itself. We moved into our current shop in Herne Hill in Jan 2020, right before the cycling industry exploded. To help with the extra demand during lockdown, we took on an arch at the back of the shop under the Herne Hill railway to help service more bikes in there. But we soon realised that we needed more room(!) and so traded up our smaller arch for a bigger one a few doors down. We’re very happy in our new home.

Next?

We’re busy transforming the space into a workshop where we can both service bikes and welcome the public to offer fix your bike sessions and other activities.

Keep a watch on our social media channels as we will be launching bookable sessions on here soon…
