C Line is the original folding bike built for the city
Handmade in London, the Brompton C Line has been a trusted companion for riders worldwide for 50 years. It folds into a compact, locked package in under 20 seconds—easy to lift, carry, and store in trains, car boots, or even under a table. Built from durable steel and endlessly customisable, the C Line delivers the same go-anywhere freedom it always has, now lighter, more portable, and more capable than ever.

1975 Edition Small Zip Case
The Zip Case – Small is the baby of the collection, with a 1.5L capacity that’s perfect for travelling light. There’s a surprisingly roomy main compartment with a handy pocket and elasticated strap for keeping small items secure. A detachable shoulder strap provides a convenient off-bike.
Brompton Brazer’s Coin
This Brompton Brazer’s Coin is one of 1,975, made to celebrate everyone who has created our bikes for the last fifty years. There are 52 expert brazers in our London Factory, handmaking every single Brompton. We’re proud of what they do, that’s why each bike is marked by its maker. Each brass coin is embossed with one of our brazer’s initials. The material will naturally patina over time, making it as unique as your Brompton bike.
BROMPTON C LINE 1975 EDITION
Brompton 1975 Edition – Celebrating 50 Years
In 1975, Andrew Ritchie sketched the first Brompton folding bike—radical at the time, and now the gold standard in compact design. The 1975 Edition pays tribute to 50 years of innovation and craftsmanship. Its Thermal Fade finish reflects the brazing process that gives every frame lasting strength. Each bike includes one of 1,975 collectible Brazer’s Coins, honouring the skill of Brompton’s makers, along with special 50th anniversary gold details to mark this milestone.
