Efficient, integrated power source


Bosch lithium-ion batteries are among the most advanced on the market. Their intelligent battery management system guarantees a long battery life, while the efficient energy control optimises your bike's range. You can choose the battery capacity that suits you: 400, 545 or 800 Wh. The battery is secured with a lock on the frame and you can remove it easily using your bike key. This is convenient, as you can charge the battery either on or off the bike.

The Bosch Performance Line gives you everything your cyclist's heart desires. Smooth and powerful assistance that will never let you down. With 65 Nm torque you can handle any terrain. Highly recommended for the demanding cyclist.

High box

As a parent, you naturally want to make sure that your children sit safely in the box while you cycle. This is why the box on the Makki is extra high and made of an impact-resistant, soft and lightweight material (EPP). So your children are always protected, but they can enjoy the ride and surroundings to the fullest thanks to the recesses on either side. A ride on the Makki Load becomes a wonderful journey.

Easy to use

Are you ready to go? The stand is released effortlessly with a simple foot movement. And putting the bike on the stand is just as easy — even when the box is packed full! The Makki Load's sturdy double kick stand keeps it firmly in place. This allows the kids to step in and out of the box safely. This innovative and patented stand is just one of the clever little features on the Makki that make a big difference.

Get on board!

Once you get to your destination, you obviously won't want your kids having to do all sorts of gymnastics to get out of the box. The recesses on either side make it very easy to step out. The same applies later when they have to get back in. You'll be on your way again in no time. Handy, isn't it?

Always know where your bike is

The Makki Load is equipped with Gazelle Connect. This means you know where your Makki is at all times. A module connected to the Internet is built into the Makki. This module ensures that the cargo bike is always traceable using GPS. This is also clearly marked on the Makki's frame, so thieves will think twice before trying to make off with it. If the Makki starts moving unexpectedly you'll receive a notification via the Gazelle Connect app.
